BAD BAD BAD swapping behavior in 2.1.92pre1 BAD BAD BAD

I had a kernel compile going in the background(egcs), along with mirror.
Nothing else big. I was writing an email in pine, and it got swapped out mid
word. Either that, or kswapd wasn't being polite. That is unlikely, however,
because I could switch vt's to bash, and bash was still in memory.

P166MMX, 32mb ram, 64mb swap.
