NE2000 Driver

Hello. Answering Y to NE2000 support configures/compiles in 2.1.94 but does
not automatically load the driver upon bootup of the kernel, thus disabling
ethernet completely.

I recently recompiled NE2000 as a module and loaded that in after the regular
initialization of the kernel.. worked fine. Can someone look at
fixing the non-module bootup for NE2000?

Also, with the new sound driver in 2.1.90 and above, It would seem to me that
sound DSP buffers are allocated when a call to open /dev/dsp is issued. This
is fine, except for when the system has extremely limited memory free, it
can't find a big enough page (?) to allocate the buffer. This results in
extremely distorted output constantly 'clicking' as the buffer isn't big
enough. Even at some times, I cannot record/play because there isn't enough
space to allocate Any buffer. I would be very grateful if the sound buffer
(64k) was allocated during kernel initialization or during loadup of the
module. I have not yet confirmed this problem on 2.1.94.

Thank you.
