IP forwarding

Err, stupid question, but how do you compile IP forwarding into 2.1.xx?
There isn't a CONFIG_IP_FORWARD like there was in 2.0.xx, and nothing I
saw in the Documentation section mentioned it. This makes my
/proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forwarding non-existant.

I have a similar problem with /proc/profile that no one has answered. In
short, where is it? Compiling kernel profiling in didn't do anything to
create this file.
