2.1.96: kmod.c precice fix

For the record, the culprit on line 116 is the byte immediately after
the first '|' symbol. Load up the file in joe and it's highlighted
instantly. Of course, I *WOULD* like to know what the 2.1.97 patch is
going to look for in kmod.c - we should clearly fix it if it's broke,
but not if the user already has. Is patch(1) smart enough to deal with
this correctly?
