Some general questions for ya.

Greetings,
I have seen a few questions on this list that would prove helpful to
me, but no answers publically.

First: What is the status of the ppa driver and the Zip Plus. I cannot
get the driver to even load. this is with and without pre-loading of modules
relevant to ppa (scsi_mod, sd_mod, parport, and parport_pc)
Second: What is the status of the NMI-Watchdog. It appeared to run nicely
on my machine when it was functional.
Third: How do I go about mounting SMB shares. I have downloaded the newest
samba 1.9.18p4 and no dice. It gives me SMBFS: needs mount version 6.

Thanks in advance, everyone has always been helpful in the linux community
and that's why I am still running this OS. Also, I think that these questions
in being answered can help many others than just me, as I have seen each at
least twice in the last month, but no answers... Thanks a bunch.
