2.0.34pre10 alpha troubles

I've got a RH5.0 alpha box with all updates currently running 2.0.30.
I've upgrade to 2.0.34pre10 and many strange things happen.

control-panel doesn't work get the error

Error: bad access (attempt to access private resource denied)

Any ideas on what I did wrong compiling 2.0.34pre10, I didn't really
change the config.
