I forgot to mention.....the error, "You don't exist, Go away!" also =
appears when I try to do a 3 finger salute!!!! Can anyone explain =
this?!?!?! How in the hell can one do a 3 finger salute and get this =
message!!! I am totally stumped!! I mean literally, I cannot get into my =
box....I have tried the following:
1. Maintenance mode, edit passwd file to reflect root::0:0.......
NOTHING, Can't login
2. Tried to login in regularly with other users, NOTHING
3. Try to do a warm reboot, Ctrl-Alt-Delete.....message, "You don't =
exist, Go away!"
A trojan horse comes to mind as I have downloaded some prebuilt binaries =
from some "respectible" servers, aka. redhat.com, cdrom.com, =
sunsite.unc.edu....etc....Like I said in my previous message....I have =
never ran into this since using linux since 1996.....I am stumped and =
cannot get into my box!!!
