Hello,

I just wanted to mention that if one has two ethernet cards, one PCI
and another ISA then the cards are detected in different order,
depending on whether you are booting 2=2E0=2Ex (2=2E0=2E32) or 2=2E1=2Ex (2=2E=
1=2E98)
kernel, presumably because the order of autodetection has changed in
2=2E1=2Ex=2E

Of course, if this is important, then it should probably be left as is
but if not, can it be put back to the way it was in 2=2E0=2Ex because a
sysadmin needs to run netcfg and change interface information each
time=2E=2E=2E

Just a comment on "convenience" - it is not a very strong or important
argument=2E=2E=2E

Thanks,
Tigran=2E

PS=2E Please ignore the commercial b=2Es=2E that follows - I have NOTHING t=
o
do with it and its out of my control=2E Thank you=2E :)
