2.0.33 - PCI & 3c905TX problems

I just finished putting together a Pentium II 233MHz box, and I'm
having problems with PCI and a 3COM 3c905TX NIC.

MB: BCM QS440LX
CPU: Pentium II 233 MHz
NIC: 3COM 3c905-TX
DIST: RedHat 5.0
KERN: 2.0.33

At boot up I get the following warnings after 'Probing PCI
hardware':

Warning : Unknown PCI device (8086:7180). Please read include/linux/pci.h
Warning : Unknown PCI device (8086:7181). Please read include/linux/pci.h
Warning : Unknown PCI device (10b7:9055). Please read include/linux/pci.h

In looking at /proc/pci (see below) I have determined that these
warnings respectivly refer to my Host bridge, PCI bridge, and
NIC.

A little further down the line int he init messages right after
the IDE interfaces I get the following message:

Unknown #Com PCI ethernet adapter type 9055 detected: not configured

I've seen several posts with people having problems with the
3c59x driver (I've installed v0.99 07 April 98), but my system is
not even acknowledging the presence of my NIC. I'm guessing this
has something to do with the PCI problem. I've been using Linux
on an old 486 for several years now with no problems, but this
PCI stuff is completely new to me. I'm sure that someone has
encountered this problem already and has a solution/patch.
