With the other ifndefs removed, I have been up 12h, suspended 2h + 6h.
BUT, I do not use suspend to disk. Setting up StoD creates a hidden
contiguous diskfile to save all of DRAM + some other system state stuff.
It does (on my machine) effectively turn off the system. Indeed, to come
back, I must cycle the power switch. The only diff. is that instead of
booting on power-up, it restores the system to where I was. I have not
even tried this under linux, and Scott has not been able to make it
work. Maybe a CONFIG_APM_SUSPEND_TO_DISK to disable fasttimeofday would
work.
Scott --have you checked the size of you hidden suspend file to see if
it is large enough?
