kmod & error -512

I've seen a couple of emails in the last week or so with kmod errors of
waitpid returning -512. Checking errno.h, this corresponds to
-ERESTARTSYS. Taking a look at exit.c, I couldn't make heads or tails of
the code (sys_wait4, I think). Anyway - does anyone know what is causing
this? For me, the problem happens when autofs.o gets loaded. Could it be
__WCLONE not being processed properly?
