In case anyone was wondering, let me add that I have posted this
configuration software to linux-kernel and would be happy to see it
integrated into the main kernel distributon. Also, the various
components of the PnP configuration stuff that I mentioned are FTPable
from ftp.yggdrasil.com, and have been announced here and in other
appropriate forums.
