E-BIOS Support in Linux ?

Is E-BIOS support going to be added to Linux any time soon?

I've had problems where Win95+IE4 / Win98 have activated this feature in
my motherboard and/or hard drive.

The effect of this is that Windows ignores the Linux partition and just
writes its data straight over top of it!

You can tell if E-BIOS is active because Windows suddenly seems to use
multiple primary partitions with id's C, E and F.

Sorry I can't be much more help - but I don't know an incredible amount
about it. Hopefully someone does ?

Scott
