2.1.104-5 scsi timeout, aic7xxx

When booting with either 2.1.104 or 2.1.105
after the aic7xxx driver is started the
scanning for devices times out for the first scsi device.
It never gets past this point.
Even though it states it is trying harder. :-)
I have set the timeout to 10 seconds.
