No. Intel designed BX so that probing for their competitors would break
the OS.
#Intel got right of way, and Cryix detection got disabled for now.
Why? Intel's the ones getting sued by the FTC for anti-trust along with
Microsoft. You going to give Microsoft right of way? Yeah, two totally
different fields, but what gives Intel the right, hmm?
#I think it is going to come back with TSC path or something like that.
it's going to come back as soon as I can find enough time between dealing
with contract jobs, email, and the phone, to do some SERIOUS CPU detection
work. Fun, yeah. }:P
