wow, just downloaded 2.1.106 from ftp.kernel.org, configured (make
xconfig) and compiled..
i did 3 rc5des benchmarks with 2.1.105-
1: 227965 keys/sec
2: 215880 keys/sec
3: 229868 keys/sec
i did that again with 2.1.106
1: 285512 keys/sec
2: 285877 keys/sec
3: 236671 keys/sec (while starting Netscape Communicator just for the
heck of it :-)
i wanted to benchmark, i just grabbed the first program that came to
mind, rc5des :-)
