I agree with HPA that the gregorian calendar ends up at around
365.2425 days in a year. (365 + 1/4 - 1/100 + 1/400)

My encyclopedia says a year has 365 days, 5 hours, 49 minutes and
45.98 seconds. I get 365.242893.

The gregorian calendar will be off-by-a-day after about 51395 years.
This does not take any "slowing" effects into account.
