I just thought that some newbie who installed Red Hat 5.1 on a Proliant
1600 system might be desperately browsing linux-kernel in hope to find a
solution to the following trivial problems:
a) if your memory is only detected as 16M (and you have more) don't forget
to specify mem=??M (where ?? is the amount of RAM you have in megabytes)
at LILO boot: prompt. Better even add append="mem=??M" line in your
/etc/lilo.conf and re-run lilo -v.
b) don't panic seeing that Red Hat can't use your Netellignet/100 card
right away. Just compile 2.1.latest kernel - it is supported fine.
