Hi
I have tried loading linux 2.0.32 (RH 5.0) on a Compaq m/c
with NCR53c710 SCSI system. Although it is mentioned in the
list of supported SCSI drivers I have not been able to even
start up on this venture as the kernel does not recognize
it.

Is there anybody out there with solution to this problem
which is typically found on the Compaq machines as they
have integrated SCSI systems.

I know I can use another well-behaved card (which I may
ultimately) but then what is the use of on-board resources ?

TIA
Chetan
