The switching to higher text modes works ok, but weird things happen with the
screen contents refresh and the user screen (^O) view in mc:
When a command is run from within MC's command line and one wants to see its
output by pressing ^O, he will see the contents of the screen as it was saved
BEFORE mc was started - the output of the command never appears. Also,
sometimes, a part of contents of some virtual console is output to another vc
after switching with Alt-Fx.
