v2.1.110 and vmalloc()

Who broke vmalloc?! :o( I had to reverse the patch for this
bit to get my sound stuff to work. Whoever did that should be made to
drink 3,000 litres of "Hemp" lager. :o) Oh well, least I was able to fix
it. [Maybe I'll be a Linux Lesser God soon..]
