2.1.110 "nls_cp437.o: can't allocate..."

Just jumped on 2.1 bandwagon. It seems it works well here, 486/66
w/48M, IDE only, RedHat 5.1 with Changes file required upgrades;
only two things to report:

- during boot, after loading appletalk ddp, I have a
SIOCADDRT: File exists.
Do I need to "off" something new in conf.modules?

- mounting vfat partition:
Jul 22 19:29:23 sirio insmod: /lib/modules/2.1.110/fs/nls_cp437.o:
can't allocate kernel memory for module; needed 3552 bytes
(this one disappears if I compile the kernel SMP: can this be of
any help?)

Overall, I have a sensation of increased speed w/ respect to 2.0.34,
but it can be just a sensation.

Bye,
Romano
