Let me know about PPP stuff

I am working with Paul Mackeras in doing some important work on the PPP
driver. There are several things we are trying to accomplish:

1) Separate asynchronous and synchronous handling

2) Create a channel API to allow multiple kinds of channels (ISDN, tty,
l2tp, pptp, whatever)

Doing so will allow us not only to add new important protocols like l2tp,
but also to support things like multilink PPP. The patches that went into
2.1.109 were the first round, that is trying to separate somewhat the
asynchronous from the synchronous PPP handling.

If you're having trouble with the new PPP arrangment, I would like to
encourage you to contact me directly at markster@marko.net so that I can
try to coordinate the patches with Paul (who happens to be in
Australia) and be sure that as I work to get the new API in place that PPP
isn't broken in the process!

Mark
