2.1.111, alpha, ethernet detection

gcc version egcs-2.91.51 19980714 (gcc2 ss-980609 experimental)
(yeah, I know. But egcs 1.0 compilers will not work at all.)

I don't understand these messages--ethernet card detection
is doing something funny. My .config is available on request. With the
2.1.102 kernel I am running now, the cards are handled correctly.
I have "ether=0,0,eth1" on the boot line.

Maybe they are nothing to worry about?

and requires IRQ18 (provided by PCI BIOS).
