I just wanted to say, thanks !! and good job for all the developers
out there working on the linux kernel, and all its parts. This comes
about because of the realization that I have been consistantly getting
higher file transfer rates, for the same connection speed, than I do
with windows. Using the same machine, modem, tcp number, and mtu
settings. I dont know who, or what, is responsble for this,( maybe its
that beer drinking penguine) but I am extended this praise to ALL the
people that work(ed) on this. I just started using linux about a month
ago, and have yet to see a blue screen of death :) ( hahaha).... Even
the devel kernel seems more stable than windows( to me and my
machine). I know thats not saying much, but ... still.. thanks !!! for
all the work that has been done, and is being done , and will be done,
on this....
