I think you are right, I'll have a look at the BIOS settings to see if there is
anything relevant there, I have suspicions about this TopGun motherboard's BIOS,
it's supposed to support UDMA but it doesn't appear anywhere in the options as
mentioned in the manual, I can disable the PS/2 mouse port in the BIOS, but that
has no effect and there isn't a jumper on the board for it.
I emailed TopGun and got no reply, shortly afterwards their email address
disappeared from their site.
