Re: smbfs in stable kernels.

I am having problems with smbfs in 2.1.x (x up to 112): it works fine
when mounting from Windows NT shares, but it gives errors like this when
doing a ls -l on the mounted directory:

ls: /cdrom/windows/ODBCINST.INI: Too many open files in system

I get these messages randomly and the files are different every time I
do the ls.

I see this kernel message when the above happens:

smb_lookup: find windows/ODBCINST.INI failed, error=-23

I have tried using all the documented options in
Documentation/fs/smbfs.txt with no luck. And I have also reported this
problem here before, and know I am not the only one seeing this.
