For 2.0.35: check the Jumbo patch available from
http://www.altern.org/andrebalsa/linux/Jumbo-2.0.35-9.patch.gz

I provides much better CPU detection than the standard 2.0.35.

For 2.1.x, AFAIK anything later than 2.1.110 should be OK, although it
lacks some features from the Jumbo patch.
