I am not part of this debate.........I just wanted to inform ever one
that there is the potential for 12 (E)IDE devices. I could with time
get 16, but it would be a waste of time.... Since my current suggested
patch is in the circle file...........

As for the cryptic whatevers.........until I can solve the simultanious
probing and multi-mounting of IDE-CD changers for dynamic accessing
of any loaded disk...........it is not a factor for me yet.

Comming up with a working solution that could be similar to LUNs
wrt to SCSI devices is one of my current puzzles..........
