Before I upgraded to 64Mbyte of ram (from 32Mbyte) I was used to have
30/40 Mbyte of swap alloced all the time and I saw that messages too
sometimes (with 2.1.11x too).

I also suspected the possible DMA corruption. Are you using DMA?
