Makes sense from their point of view. ISA card create many support
problems, where PCI cards generally aren't as problematic.

I think now that the retail cost of PCI cards is nor approaching that
for ISA, we will start to see more and more hardware become PCI only,
even perhaps modems (many soundcards are PCI now).

So, your BIOS is broken - get a new one.

I don't mean this is a harsh way, but its more or less the same as if
your NIC didn't work or the BIOS wouldn't boot from a hard-disk
correctly. If the BIOS isn't working, it really needs fixing.
