I'm just politely requesting that the Ftape-4.01 driver shoudl finally be
included into the 2.2 release if it's coming soon. It adds support for a
plenty of new hardware (esp. parport streamers). It works miracously well
at least for me, who is using 3 *different* of those beasts for file
transfer between work and home. It removes the silly compression, without
compromising backwards compatibility with tapes which where created under
the current driver. It allows for sharing multiple driver... And so on and
so on...

Finally Ftape 4.01 is the first floppy streamer tape driver which makes
the support for those drives under Linux look seriously good!

So Linus please if you find the time to do a patch around 300k and don't
have other good stuff at hand. I would be seriously indepted!
