Console: crash (reproducable)

I found this by luck. I've got a tar file which if catted reliably crashes
the 2.1.11x console (machine reboots). Which of the console
maintainers wants it 8). This is an S3 card using a normal text mode
console on gcc 2.7.2.3 built kernel
