I recently posted a message asking for help with DHCP remote booting a
linux kernel.....I found out what the problem was....My NIC (a 3com
3c509B) was in PNP mode (#%$#%)..I switched it to standard, set an
IRQ/IO and walla....

It works...

The moral of the story: When troubleshooting,
CHECK EVERYTHING...DON'T ASSUME!!!!!!!!
