could you not try a more recent kernel? 2.0.30 was over two years ago and you
are using 2.0.1. i have been using a lance based card (two in fact) in this
machine for the last two years without *any* problems whatsoever. i'm still
using 2.0.30 on it because it runs 24x7 and has *never* crashed (except when
i've tripped the power)!
