I just wanted to add a hearty "me too" to this. But with me, it's 2.1.122
that dies during booting.
I got _some_ of the oops written down, but had to handle a
child-emergency, so I couldn't grab the rest :( [ I know, it makes it next
to useless ]. But just in case, this is as far as I got:
Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address 000fc000
Current->tss.cr3 = 00101000, %cr3 = 00101000
*pde = 00000000
Oops: 0000
CPU: 1
EIP: 0010:[<c01eb57e>]
This is on a dual PII system (SuperMicro P6DBE), 4 IDE devices, 2 SCSI
devices ... ( sysinfo: http://neko.binary9.net/scripts/sysinfo ).
G'day!
