I currently have RedHat Linux 5.0 set up, with the kernel upgraded to
2.0.34 from the default, and using PPP for my link to the Internet,
and in that version, it works fine.
I recently tried to upgrade to 2.0.35, but find that if I have PPP
selected in "make menuconfig", the kernel compile fails with a whole
series of errors that rapidly scroll of screen.
What gives?
