Dear sir,

I have run Arcangeli's patch on our test machine, and it runs just fine, until
you point out the flaws.

Can you please tell me where can I find your original patch? I'd like to compare
it with one from Arcangeli.

And you also said:

"There is only one flaw I can see in this patch as it stands (and my own had
exactly the same flaw). .... The efficient solution would be not to count a swap
cache reference as a reference to swap, but that really complicates things as in
the normal swap cache read case (where we have a process mapping the swap-cache
page readonly with COW), we'd have to change things to make that process keep a
reference count to the swap entry itself .... That's clearly not something we
want to change for 2.2."

What do you think is the appropriate next step, sir?

I'd appreciate any idea on how to proceed.

Sincerely,
Pete
