first question: yes, absolutely. EPOX MVP3E-M, this thing with 3+4+1 slots and
3 DIMM and two PS/2 memory slots. I have a K62-300 (with 3DNow! :-) but that
shouldn't make that big a difference.

I had some problems with the AGP slot, (my Riva 128 AGP card flickered), and I
have extreme problems with power consumption (but this might also be because I
have five 7200rpm hard disks running on a 200W power source and each eats
about 30-40W when in full action <g>)

well ... apart from that sometimes my X screen suddenly garbles up when the box
goes into PowerManagement mode (but Ctrl-Alt-+/- fixes this), I've had no
problems, at least, no instabilities so far. I used 2.0.33,34 and then switched
to 2.1.106, 107, momenarily I'm using 2.1.119 with a scsi-idle patch (so my
hdds can sleep some times :)
