Still can't mount ext2 cdrom with 2.1.123.

strace of "mount -t ext2 /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom"
shows a

ioctl(3, 0x1260, 0xbffffa2c) = -1 EINVAL (Invalid Argument)

any ideas what I should try next .. or how I can help to debug this ?
