G'day all...

Using kernel 2.0.34

found a whole bunch of these in /var/log/messages :

Sep 30 02:56:02 falcon kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device
Sep 30 02:56:02 falcon kernel: 03:01: rw=2, want=7536641, limit=2062336

some said rw=0 instead of rw=2.

and these in /var/log/syslog :

Sep 30 02:56:02 falcon kernel: EXT2-fs error (device 03:01): ext2_readdir:
bad entry in directory #79900: rec_len is smaller than minimal - offset=0,
inode=84214800, rec_len=0, name_len=0

does anyone know what this means?
and how to fix?

Cheers Mof.
