I have not been able to get plip to properly recognize a parallel port
device since (I think) around the time of the change in the parralel
port driver. (When Parallel Port support was moved to the 'General
Setup' Section of 'menuconfig'. (*note: I am not so stupid as to think
that mearly changing where an option is chosen could affect this... [at
least not normally] =).
In any event, I hardly use it, but when I do I have to switch back to
2.0.3x. Also, I have tried module, and built in. I have tried a
variety of load options with the plip module, and no success. Anyone
care to comment?
