Hello,

I just rebooted my 2.1.124 to test the 2.1.124-ac2, and i noticed:
* soundcore module unloading works properly now :)
* Seems to run somewhat _smoother_ (less HD activity)
* just got a single (under _normal_ conditions i don't have that message):
Oct 6 05:02:56 sjoerd kernel: Sound: DMA (output) timed out - IRQ/DRQ config error?
I'm getting used to these (seen with 2.1.?? before, 2.0.3? never tested), when tranferring
data from UDMA 34x cdrom (hdd) to UDMA ide (hdc) and playing mp3 files
on a SB16-Vibra-PnP.

I noticed with the 2.1.124(Linus) a kernel message:
Oct 6 00:58:04 sjoerd kernel: VFS: Disk change detected on device 16:40
Oct 6 00:58:06 sjoerd kernel: ISO 9660 Extensions: RRIP_1991A
Oct 6 00:59:08 sjoerd kernel: hdd: timeout waiting for DMA
Oct 6 00:59:08 sjoerd kernel: hdd: irq timeout: status=0x58 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest }
Oct 6 00:59:08 sjoerd kernel: hdd: DMA disabled
Oct 6 00:59:08 sjoerd kernel: hdd: ATAPI reset complete
Oct 6 00:59:11 sjoerd kernel: hdd: status error: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
Oct 6 00:59:11 sjoerd kernel: hdd: status error: error=0x04
Oct 6 00:59:11 sjoerd kernel: ATAPI device hdd:
Oct 6 00:59:11 sjoerd kernel: Error: Unit attention -- (Sense key=0x06)
Oct 6 00:59:11 sjoerd kernel: Power on, reset or bus device reset occurred -- (asc=0x29, ascq=0x00)

Perhaps to soon trying to mount the cdrom after inserting a CD?

Argh! All right, so how am I supposed to work with Linux when
everything's already been done?! Can't these people leave some
broken MSDOS like parts so there's problems left to solve!?....
