Not that I know of. I am running a 2.1.124 machine here and klogd is
logging the startup messages just fine.

If anyone else is noticing a problem I would like to know about. I am
finally putting my life back together after the destruction of my
former career and finally have time again to work on sysklogd. I am
close to having the Ooops logging fixed on with the 2.1.x kernels and
if there are other problems I would like to get them addressed.
