I reported yesterday a problem that I have one Linux server where the
network stoped working. The proplem occured again today. This time I did
not reboot the server I only shut down the network and restarted the
network again and it was working. I have no entry in an error log. This is
a production system and I can not play much with it.
This time I changed the network driver from de4x5 to tulip. I really don't
know what else to say except that the network stops working without any
reason no oops or any kind of output that would give a reason. The system
worked stable for two month and I did not do changes to the system in the
last month except increase the entry for file-max and inode-max.
Thanks for any kind of help.

Dominik
