But, APM is incompatible with SMP. What would be nice would be a way to
just tell the PSU to turn off without having full APM support, so that
SMP machines could be powered down automatically.
Surely the I/O ports or whatever for APM can just be tweaked to make
this happen?
Can't say it's a very vital feature though ;-) (and could be done by
user code anyway like maybe in halt?).
