2.1.125 - hangs on boot (Alpha)

I've got a Digital Personal Workstation 500au (Miata) machine and the
2.1.125 kernel hangs on boot. No messages at all are dumped to the
screen. I've tried building it as Miata, Generic, and with/without
framebuffer support.

Any thoughts?
