As long as your ISP will support EQL, and pass packets for any IP address down
any modem, there's no problem.

Otherwise, you haven't gained any speed. An FTP download will still be
restricted to one IP address, and hence only one modem. OK, so other
connections may be able to use other modems at the same time, but that's not
necessarily useful.
