Hi!
I'm using kernel 2.1.125 on an i586, with config:
CONFIG_SOUND=y
CONFIG_SOUND_OSS=y
CONFIG_SOUND_ADLIB=y
CONFIG_SOUND_MAD16=y
CONFIG_SOUND_YM3812=y
I noticed that mixer doesn't work under linux, but under windows
everything seems ok. While I was playing CD, under aumix and xmixer I
couldn't change volume/balance. But I saw, that mixer 'enables' when I
write something to /dev/dsp. Is there any solution, except putting echo
somthing > /dev/dsp in rc.d?
