I snagged the NIS stuff on ftp.kernel.org and gave it a try today.. seems
to work ok here with pre6 and glibc-2.0.99. I didn't do any spiffy testing
but did tcpdump and strace to make sure they are yacking at each other
and not just sitting there. (nsswitch.conf only has hosts, services and
rpc set for nis and only nis though)
